Jed and I just decided that we have the most good-looking family members ever! This is my adorable cousin and her darling family. It was so fun to see them again! We don't see much of each other anymore and I forget how big your kids are getting! I still expect to see little 6 & 8 year olds running around. Ha ha, I just remembered--was it Carson or Cade that held the hose up to Grandma B's open window and they were so amazed at how the water just "disappeared" when it hit the screen. Ah, good times!
umm, hello!! I freaking used to babysit this kid! When I told them I wanted them to kiss for this one Lisa said "Each other?" (She is so going to kill me for saying that :)
We are so blessed to have such an amazing extended family and these guys are part of that--Ben is my husbands cousin and his sweet wife Cassie. I can't even begin to tell you what amazing people they are, and we are so glad that they have moved back to Utah! Can't wait to see you guys tomorrow! Check out the eyes on these kids!
April and Shaun-you have such a cute family! It was so good to see you guys! I love seeing people I haven't seen since high school, especially when they are all successful and grown up with cute families like these guys. Thanks guys! I hope you like them! Check out those beautiful smiles! I hear they have an awesome dentist :)
I really enjoyed photographing this family! It was bitter cold and the poor kiddos were freezing from the get go, so we didn't really get many smiles out of them, but despite that and my numb fingers, I really did enjoy it. Hanging out with them for awhile I could tell what a fun, close-knit family they are and I think that is so awesome! I also found out that Jay and Sandra were next door neighbors to my parents when they were first married, it's funny because now my parents live next door to Jay's brother. Such a small world!
Kay, I'm totally going to cheeseball it here and say that I was completely honored to take pictures of these kids. Kath is the sister of a very dear friend of mine and so when she contacted me about taking pictures while they were in Utah, it really brought on the tears...and the butterflies :) I have a lot of fun memories of these guys (do you remember going to hunters safety class Kath? Jed gets to put me in for all the hunts because of that fun little experience...Yay for me when I draw out *said very sarcastically*:) It was so fun though to see you guys again and see your beautiful kids! Savi is absolutely gorgeous Cody is going to have fun keeping the boys at bay, Porter is such a cutie and hopefully will forgive all my barbie comments ;) Brooklyn and Sienna are the cutest little cousins, they totally remind me of my little Ethan and his cousin Jake...they are best friends and I'm sure there is never a dull moment when they are together. (As I type this Ethan and Jake are playing Spider-Man and Ethan is giving me dirty looks because I can't make web come out of his hand.) Thankyou again, and I hope you like them! This one cracks me up! I asked Sienna to go sit by Brooklyn and that is what I got. :) There is no question why the kids are so dang cute!
Such a cute family! They also happen to be my neighbors, and it was so fun to take their pictures. Palmer totally cracked me up with his cake. It was FREEZING outside but we put the cake in front of him and he went crazy! He would stop and shiver for a second and then go back to stuffing in as much cake as he could. He reminded me of cookie monster when he shovels in all the cookies. Which is what I am being now that I think about it. The bad thing with all this editing is I sit and eat. Mostly to stay awake, and with all my wonderful neighbors we have no short supply of treats around here. I hope you all realize that you're giving me thunder thighs for Christmas! (Or bigger ones at least :))
Lily, Lily, Lily! What am I going to do with you! You are just going to have to learn to like your picture taken because you are just too gorgeous!
To say Lily did not like her picture taken I think would be a major understatement! I was able to get some cute ones though (how could they not be cute, seriously this baby is gorgeous!) Thankyou Susan for braving it a second time! You are a trooper!
