Just a few things...

So first of all it's been 2 weeks since I started my diet and I have been so good! I have not cheated ONCE! I've eaten lettuce, and asparagus, and have done everything I am supposed to do. AND I'VE ONLY LOST 5.5 POUNDS!!! UGH!! I have lost inches though, don't ask me how that works. I tried on a pair of pants that I wore pre-Ethan and a few days ago I couldn't button them, now I am wearing them so I know it is doing something so YAY! Second, watching conference was awesome, one talk that stood out to me was Pres. Hollands talk/testimony of the Book of Mormon. All I can say is WOW! It brought tears to my eyes. I mean, I have a strong testimony of it also, but after hearing his testimony it made me realize that mine could be A LOT stronger. Anyone that has not read it or hasn't read it in awhile just try it! And third, and this is still making me mad- but yesterday I got a call from an out of area number saying that my debit card from (it named my bank) has been blocked for use at stores and ATM's for security reasons and to contact the security office (it gave a number) or stay on the line to be connected. Well, I just hung up and decided I would call my bank today to see what was going on. I'm SO glad I did! It was a scam, they said they had alot of bank members called and they were trying to get my card number. I just think how sad that people would stoop that low to try and take others hard earned money! I know times are hard right now, but do they realize that the people they are trying to steal from could be struggling just as much as they are! And I'm sure that setting up this little scam took a lot of time and thought--so how about putting that time into FINDING A JOB!!! Go work at McDonalds for pete's sake, not stealing from innocent people! I can't believe people can do things like this and still sleep at night. And finally fourth, Muse is like my favorite band of all time and they have a new album out! I still need to get it, but you can hear my favorite so far--Uprising. It is on my playlist at the end. It is so good!! Oh, and fifth my husband shot an antelope, yay.

Diet diary part 2

Two posts in one day...I'm awesome...and getting a little lightheaded. Yes, it is my first day on the 500 cal diet and although I don't feel hungry at all I just started getting really lightheaded. The whole day has gone really good though no hunger really and the food was alright. For lunch and dinner I had 100g of chicken that I food processerized (yes processerized! I had 500 cal today give me a break!) and put some of that Weber grill mates season stuff in (which my little boy tells me makes his poop come out just so you know). I then wrapped it in romaine lettuce, yes I ate lettuce, you can all pick your jaws up off the floor now, I know it is quite shocking. I had a melba toast and a honeycrisp apple which I have to say is now my favorite food in the whole entire world! Have you tried those things? YUMMY!! Sprinkle some Truvia fake sugar and cinnamon on it and WOW!! Anyways day 3 down, 20 more to go.

Diet Diary

Today is the day! I started the hCG diet today, so hopefully 23 days from now I will be at or closer to my goal weight. I thought I would be a dork and blog it so that it would be a little more added pressure for me to do well and also, so that if there is anyone out there who is considering hCG they can decide whether to do it or not from my experience.

I got the hCG from a website that my sis in law ordered it from, I will get details if anyone wants it. It was a whopping $39.00. Don't ever get it from a clinic! I took my hCG to a friend who works at a clinic that does hCG and she said it was the exact same stuff. Granted with their program they help you every step of the way and give you recipies and a counselor to guide you through it so I'm sure it is just a little easier, but you can find all the info on the internet so for those of us who don't want to drop $1000 for it--this is definatly the way to go!

I mixed it all this morning which was pretty easy and injected it. (Which for those of you who know me well this is a major accomplishment for me!) It didn't hurt at all to put the needle in. It took awhile to work up the courage, but that was really the worst part--the anticipation. It stung a little bit going in but not bad at all! Today and tomorrow are going to be easy as they are my loading days. I need to eat as much as I can, staying away from sweets obviously, but I am supposed to eat all the greasy food I want. (Brookside fries anyone?) So that is it for now, I will post more on Wed. when the actual dreaded 500 calorie a day diet begins *gulp* wish me luck!

Grayson

How cute is he!! This little guy was the best sleeper ever, let us do pretty much what we wanted with him. Well, I take that back, I could not for the life of me get him to bend his legs. Both me and his mom were trying to get him all nice and posed so as to not show off certain parts and his little legs were just so strong, there was no way he was going to give. I think Cassie that this little guy is going to be walking early :)
