More of the Christensens

I can't get over how cute these kids were, your boys reminded me of how my boys are with each other and it was so cute to see how sweet they were with their little sister and then I start thinking how cute it would be if my boys had a little sister and...I'm just going to stop that thought right there before I get myself in trouble :)

My HcG diet experience...finally :)

Everyone knows by now that I suck at blogging so it's no surprise that I am just now getting around to this, now that I've been off the diet for two weeks. My final weightloss after ending the diet was 8 pounds...yes that is all. I did not cheat once. Am I disappointed...a little. I had in mind that I would lose like 15 pounds but I can't complain because I did everything under the sun to lose weight and it just wouldn't come off before I did this. And,those 8 pounds I lost were pure fat, I wish I would have kept track of the inches that I lost because I think there is a big difference. I dropped a size and my big ol baby belly is almost gone. But more importantly I just feel better. Being off the diet now, I don't crave sugar like I used to, I don't eat as much. I sleep better, and have more energy. I didn't think I did eat that much before I started it, but when you live off of 500 calories a day you realize that we eat WAY more than we need to! I've even lost 2 pounds since I've been off the diet for a grand total so far of 10 pounds lost. I haven't even really been trying since I've been off it. Talking with my doctor he said that the HcG will in a sense "reset" your hypothalmus gland which after having babies gets all messed up which can cause thyroid issues (which I have had) and your metabolism to suck. So anyways, yes the diet is hard, you don't appriciate being able to drink a glass of milk until you haven't been able to for 23 days, but is the diet worth it...YES!! I would do it again, although I am doing everything in my power so that I don't have to! So hopefully this will help anyone if they are considering it. I totally recommend it, just don't go into it with any expectations of how much you will lose.

Rylee & Addie

These two cousins were so adorable I could hardly stand it! Rylee is just the cutest and most easygoing baby I've ever seen--and those eyes--hello gorgeous! Addie never fails to have me laughing my head off. I wish these pictures had sound with them so you could hear her little munchkin voice saying "cheeese...mom I know how to do this, mom don't tell me how to sit, I said no mom!-- cheeeeese." Addie has become a big sister since we took these so a big congrats to Jess and Joe and little baby Crew! Thanks for being so patient for your peek guys! I tell ya the stomach flu fairy really likes our house right now!

The Christensens

Aren't they gorgeous! It was so fun to take their pictures, I went to elementary school with Darren and he grew up across the street from my husband, so it was fun to see you again. And if Bentley wasn't in the picture you would never believe that Candice had a baby six months ago--so not fair! You guys have the perfect little family, thanks for letting me take your pictures!Photobucket

Just a few things...

So first of all it's been 2 weeks since I started my diet and I have been so good! I have not cheated ONCE! I've eaten lettuce, and asparagus, and have done everything I am supposed to do. AND I'VE ONLY LOST 5.5 POUNDS!!! UGH!! I have lost inches though, don't ask me how that works. I tried on a pair of pants that I wore pre-Ethan and a few days ago I couldn't button them, now I am wearing them so I know it is doing something so YAY! Second, watching conference was awesome, one talk that stood out to me was Pres. Hollands talk/testimony of the Book of Mormon. All I can say is WOW! It brought tears to my eyes. I mean, I have a strong testimony of it also, but after hearing his testimony it made me realize that mine could be A LOT stronger. Anyone that has not read it or hasn't read it in awhile just try it! And third, and this is still making me mad- but yesterday I got a call from an out of area number saying that my debit card from (it named my bank) has been blocked for use at stores and ATM's for security reasons and to contact the security office (it gave a number) or stay on the line to be connected. Well, I just hung up and decided I would call my bank today to see what was going on. I'm SO glad I did! It was a scam, they said they had alot of bank members called and they were trying to get my card number. I just think how sad that people would stoop that low to try and take others hard earned money! I know times are hard right now, but do they realize that the people they are trying to steal from could be struggling just as much as they are! And I'm sure that setting up this little scam took a lot of time and thought--so how about putting that time into FINDING A JOB!!! Go work at McDonalds for pete's sake, not stealing from innocent people! I can't believe people can do things like this and still sleep at night. And finally fourth, Muse is like my favorite band of all time and they have a new album out! I still need to get it, but you can hear my favorite so far--Uprising. It is on my playlist at the end. It is so good!! Oh, and fifth my husband shot an antelope, yay.
