Yay Dylan!!!

Tuesday night Dylan had his Pinewood derby...and he won first place!! It was so awesome, his car never took second. He was beyond excited! They worked so hard on this car, it was so fun to see him win. We went out for ice cream after with Grandma and Grandpa, it was a great night! Thanks Dad for your help!

I love babies...

but, they always make me realize how big my boys are. :( I can't believe I have an almost 10 year old! If I didn't have to be pregnant I would so have another baby. I miss those cute little baby sounds and the way they smell all lotioned up. These cuties are Hayden and Bentley (don't you just love that name!) I love taking pictures of babies, I get my baby fix, AND I don't have to be pregnant!

We're back in business!!

Yay! Our computer is fixed! Sandy Swanson, you are amazing! He fixed it and we didn't have to erase and reinstall anything! I know it was a lot of work, and a lot of your time, it really means alot! Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, so much again for coming to our rescue! I can't stress enough guys, back up EVERYTHING! Luckily, all of our programs & pictures were somehow still on our computer, but if it wasn't it was nice knowing that I had all of our pictures on dvd's. There were still a few things that I didn't have though so I am so buying an external harddrive to backup my entire computer. I have thought about it getting one before, and even had one in my cart at CostCo once, but my cheapness won me over then. I have learned my lesson and it is so worth the money!

Out of Commission...

Back up your computers people...do it now! Our computer crashed this morning. Somehow McAfee got turned off and we picked up a few trojans from facebook I think. I can't even bring up anything. We have most everything backed up to DVD's but everything will have to be erased and we will have to start over...joy.

Anna and Jared...part 2

Here are some of Anna's bridal pictures, isn't she GORGEOUS!! We lucked out and got good weather for a day, the next day it snowed like crazy! And thankyou Anna for being so willing to do these. I made her go to this muddy field with an old run down house, totally grimy and dirty in her beautiful wedding dress, if it were me I would have been like, "you want me to go where in this?!!!", but she was awesome and I am so glad because I love the way they turned out.

Our "groovy" trip to Lake Powell

True 70's decor in all it's glory, pom pom curtains and all!

This is the ceiling

Ethan showing off the "dog fur"pillow.

The boys (mostly Jed) had a blast with this, a minature fiberglass gas powered boat. It really hauls!

This is our new pet, Rhino, the duck. He never left the side of the boat!

So the weather WAS nice this last weekend so we packed up the boys and went down to Lake Powell to stay on the boat. On the way we stopped at the Price Walmart (where by the way I have never seen so many people without teeth) to get our food. Just as we got on the road again Jed remembered that he left the keys to the houseboat in the car at home...just a minor detail. So we sat on the side of the road for half an hour wondering what we should do. We called the marina hoping they would have a spare set, they didn't but we did learn that the name of the boat is "The Outcasts" (oddly, it seems fitting for us :P) Anyways, we called Jed's dad and he said he was pretty sure that he hadn't locked a window when he was down there last, so we set off again hoping that he was right. Luckily he was and we had Dylan slide through the window and let us in. We got there pretty late and we were all very tired so I didn't get to appreciate the beauty of the boat, this was my first time seeing it. To say Austin Powers would be right at home is an understatement, this thing is hard core 70's groovy baby! I love it though! It is amazing that it is 30 something years old and completly immaculate! We had a blast and I overcame my paranoia about whether the boys life jackets really would work or not (sorry Jed, I'm a mom I can't help it!), Ethan now tells me whenever he would go by the water "Don't fall in mom, you get hurt". He was also awesome with his life jacket, whenever he wanted to go outside he went and got it. It was perfect weather--almost 80! We played with the toy boat, and the kids played the Wii, which is so much funner on the boat than it is at home for some reason, and we got to ride the ferry on the way back which was way cool. It was so hard to come back to snow!!

Sneak peek

Christy, I just finished your pictures and realized I have no cd's to burn them too :( So here is a little peek for ya :) Hayden is such a cutie and so alert! He was such a good little guy for being so awake, he just wanted to look around at everything. I was so worried about that darn hanging baby pose because I thought he would absolutley hate it, but I think he really liked it! It ended up being the easiest pose.

Thankyou!!

There are truly wonderful people in this world! I had to get some stamps for some bills I was mailing. I went to 7-11 because I hate standing in line at the post office. I got me my diet coke and a treat for the kids and went to pay. When I swiped my debit card the lady said it was declined. So I tried it again because I was positive there was money in the account--five times later it is still saying declined. A man came up behind me right then and heard my problems and immidiatly pulled out $5.00 and said "here let me get it." I said no, I've got other ways to pay, but he insisted. I was in panic mode because of course my freak out self is immidiatly thinking IDENTITY THEFT and someone has stolen our life savings so I didn't even think that if he was going to insist on paying I could have at least put the candy and coke back and just had him get the stamps. No, I just start crying and thank him over and over again. Well, I ran to the bank, and yes our money is fine, I think it is just 7-11's card machine because it worked fine later at the gas pump, anyways, I know that man will probably not see this, as I don't even know his name, but just in case--I want to tell you thank you again!! It is nice to know that there really are genuinly kind people out there that are willing to buy a total stranger her stamps and junkfood. If I ever see you again I will return the favor!!
