I suck...Merry Christmas!

The title pretty much sums it up, I ment to send out Christmas cards, but I don't think it is going to be happening this year, I am lucky to get my house cleaned and kids looking non-orphany, so consider this your card...sorry! We still love you all and wish you a Merry Christmas! Don't look at the picture too closely because as said above it sucks, oh well.
Our family is doing great, the kids are growing like weeds. Dylan is in fourth grade and loving it, Braxton is in first grade and has a blast at school, Ethan is a monster and terrorizes everyone, but he is cute so we will keep him. We are so thankful for each other and for all of you and for the gospel in our lives, we truly are so blessed!
Merry Christmas!!

The "trap"

The other day I was doing the dishes when Ethan and Jake (my nephew) started laughing hysterically. I've learned from them that sometimes that can mean trouble so I went to see what they were doing and this is what I found...they told me it was their trap.

The Jackman family

I've been so bad at blogging lately...I took these pictures a couple of weeks ago, Suzanne is my visiting teaching partner and has the most darling family! I felt so bad for her kids because it was so COLD!! I was freezing, and when I was editing the pictures it made me cold just to look at their red little cheeks and noses! They were troopers though and we got through it. It helps to have candy in the car for little motivation to hang in there!

The Millers

These guys are such a darling family and their girls are the cutest ever! They both have the most amazing eyes I've ever seen. They were so cute and loved to have their pictures taken. When I had them put on their tutus they just took off dancing. One thing I learned while I was taking their pictures is I need to be mindful of who is behind me when I say "Look for the fairies", right Haley?

Gorgeous Katie!

I had to put a couple up Katie, don't hate me!! Katie is such a good sport, she let me take maternity pictures of her even though she really didn't want to do them. I know how she feels, when I was prego I wouldn't go near a camera. If I looked like Katie does pregnant though that would be a different story! She is so tiny and just all belly, without a hint of strechmarks! So not fair!

It's FINALLY here!!!

I am writing this post while I am drinking major amounts of caffiene, I am still in my Edward shirt I wore last night, and I barely recall getting my kids off to school. We went to the midnight release of Twilight and didn't get home until 3 in the morning. We stood in line for 3 hours among crazed edward fans that were taking pictures of the commercials that played before the movie! Was it worth it? I thought it was! I always loved Rob and Kristen as Edward and Bella, but seeing the movie, I think they nailed it! Yeah, it wasn't as good as the book, and some of it was monotone and cheesy, and Rob seemed to forget that he wasn't a british vampire, but I think they did a good job! I think they could have made it 30 min. longer so it didn't seem so rushed. My sis that hasn't read any of the books ( shocking I know!) said that she liked it. So I want to know what everyone else thought...what did/didn't you like, what was your favorite part, would you go see it again?

Husband Tag

I thought this was a cute idea...

Full Name: Jed Calvin Robertson
How long we've been married: Seems like forever...j/k, we've been married 11 years!
How long did we date: 1 year
Who eats the sweets: He does for sure! I have to hide the candy at our house, and not from the kids!
Who said I love you first: He did, on my mom's front porch after he kissed me goodnight.
Who is taller: Do I really need to answer that? :)
Who sings better: I would say me, Jed won't sing
Who is smarter: Him for sure
Who does the laundry:
If I ever saw Jed do a load of laundry I would die of shock :)
Who pays the bills: He makes the money and I pay the bills.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed: Jed.
Who mows the lawn: Mostly him, I try to help occasionally, but he does it better.
Who cooks dinner: Me
Who drives: Him, because he is stubborn and I backseat drive the whole way, and hit him when he falls asleep.
Who admits they are wrong: He does, I have to much of the "Bylund stubborness."
Who asked who out first: He asked me.
Who wears the pants: I would say me, Jed is very easy going.
What does he do that surprises you: It doesn't surprise me as much as it amazes me, but he will drink one of the huge Rockstars before we watch a movie and it doesn't even phase him! He still falls asleep immediately!
My favorite feature on him: His eyes, when he smiles they light up his whole face (cheesy I know)
My favorite quality he has: He can fix or make anything! He is like MaGyver, give him a paperclip, string, and duct tape and he can make anything! I also love that he is always willing to help others. He has people calling him constantly to help with things and I always tell him to say that he is too busy (I'm horrible, I know) but he always helps them no matter what, with a smile. Another quality I love is his ability to talk and make friends with anyone! Everyone loves Jed!
Does he have a nickname for you: Honey, the usual.
His favorite food: He likes Mexican food & seafood.
His favorite sport: Basketball
Our favorite thing to do as a couple: I would say going to Jazz games. We also love to watch movies. (well I watch and he sleeps :)
Does he have any hidden talents: He can draw very well.
What do you admire most about him: He is such a hard worker and will do anything for his family. He is such a great father to our children and a great husband.
His favorite color: Is camo a color?
How did he propose: He took me to dinner and I could tell he had something on his mind, he was so nervous about something, which made me nervous. He never said anything though so I forgot about it and then when we were walking out to the jeep he got down and proposed. It was very sweet.
Love you Honey! I tag: You all know who you are, and Colbie, Dan is pretty much your long distance husband so you have to do this to!
